Female Infertility :-
For pregnancy to occur there has to be transportation of the sperms across the vagina, cervix and uterus to the distal part of the fallopian tubes, growth and development of a normal folicle, ovulation, trasport of the ovlated ovim to the distil portion of the fallopian tubes, fertization and trasport of the gamete to the fallopian tube to the uterus where proper nidation and further development of the embryo can take place.
Cervical causes :-
Ø Infections.
Ø Hostile mucus.
Ø Hypoplastic cervix.
Ø Cervical anomalies.
Uterus causes :-
Development - e.g. hypoplastic uterus,. bicornuate uterus .
Infections :-
Tuberculosis endometritis, gonococcal endometritis , infections after abortions,
Ovarian Causes :-
Luteal phase defects.
Annovulation
Polycystic ovarian syndrome . |
